I like the original idea I think you were going for but it gets lost in the lack of originality, technique, and impact.
I've seen plenty of photos like this on dA. It's nothing really new. But the idea is pretty cool.
The technique, isn't so great. When you center things in a photograph it just doesn't look right a lot of times. Try off setting things. It sounds kind of weird but something about making things asymmetrical just looks right. Try it out! You should also try showing more to the picture. Set your camera down on the wooden cylinder here and take a picture. You want more of a worm eye view of things.
The overall impact on this isn't very high because of the other factors. But, I can say I love the lighting and colors from this. They all make for a calm photograph.
