This is my first critique, so I apologise if it is not what you expected.

I think this is a great piece of art, it has a great feeling about it. The dogs eyes are full of emotion, and my one criticism is that they are not in the main focus.

It has amazing impact when you first look at it, with the dog to the side of the piece, and the slightly tilted horizon and the cars in the background giving it some lovely movement,

The originality of the piece is not so high, but this is a new take on that classic portrait style of dogs.

I absolutely love the cobblestones in the background, the way they curve around in an arch really completes the picture wonderfully.

All in all, a very impressive and beautiful photo.
